The Kickoff Meeting of the Staff Exchange Scheme “Empowering ELIXIR Nodes to measure and communicate their performance and impact” will take place on the 30th of January in Lisbon.

This initiative is lead by ELIXIR PT, NO and IT, with the collaboration of the Hub, and is open to contributions from all nodes. In addition, the event will have the presence of a RI-Paths representative and representatives from other ELIXIR nodes.

The goal of this first workshop is to build stakeholders capacity in performance and impact assessment of Research Infrastructures, and get their perspectives and needs to gather their engagement. It is expected to provide insights for the establishment of a methodology and list of indicators for the implementation of an impact assessment study at the node level.

The program is organized in three blocks, focused in the state of the art of performance/impact assessment in RIs, the establishment of a preliminary list of performance/impact assessment indicators, and the establishment of a methodology/approach to measure performance/impact at the national node level.
