The Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência is welcoming applications for a Research Fellowship within the project 22231 with the title “Biodata.pt”. 

The fellowship will have a duration of 6 months, with the possibility of extension for up to 3 years, starting in August 2017. 

The activities proposed for this position have the purpose of contributing to the development of the IGC Bioinformatics suport facility in the context of the Biodata.pt infrastructure. The candidate will perform technical support and consulting regarding the analysis of biological data using existing computational approaches. 

The candidate should hold a Masters in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Biology or related disciplines with proven experience in Bioinformatics. The candidate should have a strong background in (bio)statistics.
