The third edition of our BioData.pt Talks was held online on the last Thursday, December 10th, to an audience of 31 participants and can be seen here.
During one hour, our researchers outlined the resources available to the community, gave examples of some of the work accomplished, and described in detail the motivation and design of SeaGrassDB, a database of phenotypic observations of sea-grasses.
We would like to thank all participants for their interest and also the Marine Resources Community, in particular Cymon Cox and João Machado for their availability and enthusiastic engagement.
Make sure you don’t miss the next BioData.pt Talks where we will be talking about the challenges of establishing a local instance of the Federated European Genome-Phenome Archive (EGA) through Kjell Petersen, Technical Coordinator of ELIXIR Norway. Save the date and see you there!
