The fifth edition of our BioData.pt Talks was held online on the last Tuesday, February 23rd, to an audience of 45 participants.

During this session, we had the pleasure of having Paulo Maia, Head of Development at SilicoLife, who presented us his company and also gave us insights regarding ShikiFactory100, an H2020 project that SilicoLife is coordinating. He highlighted their strategy for the discovery of new valuable compounds from the shikimate pathway but also their policy on managing communication (and consequently research data!) between all partners involved through the adaptation of GitLab, an accomplishment we consider to be quite remarking due to the number of people concerned.

We would like to thank all participants for their interest and particularly Paulo for his availability in presenting his company's mindset that surely will become a role model for many others.
