Cymon Cox, Gianluca de Moro and João Machado, members of the BioData.pt Marine Resources Community from the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR), have led the effort to develop an online marine genomic resource to aid community-driven annotation of marine eukaryotes in the scope of a EOSC-Life demonstrator project.
This software tool allows for comparison of genome annotations stored in General Feature Format (GFF) without repeating the entire annotation process. The tool is now integrated into the Galaxy platform and available as a Snakemake workflow.
Find out more about the resource here.
Congratulations to everybody involved!
